Warranty policy

We stand behind every Bakineer gadget we sell. This warranty policy explains what's covered, how to claim, and how the repair process works.

Coverage Period

All Bakineer gadgets come with a 6-month warranty from the date of purchase.

What's covered

  • Motor
  • Electronic board
  • Battery (for battery-powered models)
  • Electrical components (switch, speed controller)

What's not covered

  • Nozzles, spacers, pushers, tubes, moulds
  • Other accessories or consumable parts

What Voids the Warranty

The warranty does not apply if:

  • Water or dough has entered the gadget
  • A foreign object has entered the gadget
  • The unit has been opened or repaired by anyone other than kuemue
  • Damage is caused by improper use, drops, or third-party modifications

Repeated same-issue damage is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Accessories

Accessories are not covered under warranty.

For accessories with a manufacturing defect, you may request an exchange for the same item, swap for a different item of equal value, or store credit — within 7 days of delivery, with photo or video proof. Refunds are not available for accessories.

Repair Process

Manufacturing defects are repaired free of charge under warranty. Issues caused by user fault are not covered, but we offer paid repair as an option.

All paid repairs come with a 2-month repair warranty.

Repair turnaround

  • Off-peak: 3 business days
  • Peak season (October–March): up to 5 business days

Repairs may take longer if specific parts are temporarily out of stock. We'll keep you updated throughout.

Coverage by Time and Region

Our warranty coverage adjusts based on how long you've had the gadget and where you're located.

Within 30 days of delivery (manufacturing defect)

  • Peninsular Malaysia: kuemue covers shipping both ways. We arrange courier pickup, repair within 3 business days, and ship back free.
  • Sabah & Sarawak: We ship replacement parts free of charge with remote repair guidance via video call. If the gadget needs to come back to us, you cover the shipping to our centre and we cover the return shipping.
  • International: We ship replacement parts free of charge — you cover the international shipping for the parts only. Our team guides you through the repair via video call.

31 days to 6 months (manufacturing defect, within warranty)

Repairs are free under warranty. Customer covers shipping in both directions, regardless of region. For Sabah, Sarawak, and international customers, parts replacement with remote guidance is the preferred resolution.

Beyond 6 months (out of warranty)

Paid repair service is available. We'll diagnose and provide a quote before any work begins. All paid repairs come with a 2-month repair warranty.

Same Issue After a Repair

If the same fault recurs after we've repaired your gadget:

  • Within original warranty → Repeat repair covered. You pay shipping to us; we pay shipping back.
  • Within 2 months of last repair (warranty expired) → Covered under our 2-month repair warranty. You pay shipping to us; we pay shipping back.
  • Beyond both windows → Handled as a new paid repair (you cover all costs).

Making a Claim

  • Your order number (proof of purchase)
  • Photo or video showing the issue

Many issues can be resolved through a quick virtual diagnosis — we'll always start there before asking you to ship anything in.
